Real Estate is ever changing and very unpredictable, but I must say I am keeping a close eye on the number of homes for sale and it is a worryingly low number.  Just the other day in Barrie there are only 427 homes for sale. That is a very low number compared to historical numbers for this time of year. A review of yesterday’s numbers for the Barrie Real Estate Board tell us that 7 homes were listed, 14 homes sold firm, 21 homes sold conditionally. If that rate were to continue we would have almost no homes left to sell and people would be paying super inflated prices.

I am not sure what is keeping people from listing their homes.  It’s really starting to look like a strong ‘sellers market’!
