Emergency Preparedness Week is an annual event that takes place each year during the first full week of May. This national event is co-0rdinated by Public Safety Canada in close collaboration with the provinces, territories and other partners. This year EP Week takes place from May 5-11. The website has all sorts of information about what constitutes an emergency and what you can do to help yourself. There are information kits and pocket guides.
