I am thrilled and confused by our continuing real estate trend in the Barrie area.  Have a look below: 43 homes were listed over the weekend and on Mon, but look at how many were sold or accepted offers thereby no longer being available for sale…76!  43 in and 76 out!  We’re not replenishing the listing pool any where near as fast as we are depleting it!  This is great if you are a Seller, but not so great if you are a Buyer.

Just two weeks ago my assistant lined up seven properties to show a young couple, but by the time she called to book showings there were only three left!  The other four had already been sold after only being on the market a few days.

So, our stats for Monday as of close of business on May 27th, based on information gathered by our Barrie & District Association of Realtors  indicate the following:

43 Homes listed

33 Firm deals

43 Conditional sales accepted

25 Price Reductions
