For sale by owner = over priced by owner.

I have been contacted in that last month by people who are trying to sell their homes privately.

They are asking to have a conversation about me possibly listing their home.  I am finding that ‘For Sale by Owners’ are getting very greedy with their pricing and the biggest mistake that buyers can make is to think that for ‘sale by owner’ means the lowest and best price.

This is a really interesting time in Real Estate because there are more people than ever trading in Real Estate,  which means the buyers really need solid information about what has value.  When so many people who are untrained and uneducated in all the ins and outs of real estate try to sell their home, and they have no access to critical information, there are going to be a lot of mistakes made.  The average Buyer is going to end up paying a price for that.

.  But, as so often happens, things don’t always end up being what they started out as.
