The best way to describe the three levels of Real Estate is to compare it to the restaurant business. There are three basic levels: Fast Food, The Diner and A Bistro.
With Fast Food, you get quick service. Everyone is in a rush and not a lot of time is allowed for how you might like your meal to taste. Everyone gets the same food but it is easy on the wallet. There are realtors who rely heavily or solely on technology. They operate on an a sale by sale basis with little personal investment. Then you have a Diner, greasy food, kind of sloppy and can be a little slow. They will ask you how you want your eggs but it’s probably best if you don’t ask them to make anything more complicated. They won’t be happy and you won’t get what you asked for. These people are open with limited hours. It’s not full service, it’s affordable, just not a great experience.
If you want a beautiful, quality meal then go to a Bistro. The owner and head chef is bringing his love of food to every meal. Nothing is frozen and you will taste the difference. Ask him to leave out the mushrooms or cook your steak a certain way and it shall be done. The atmosphere is ripe with high standards of professionalism and success. When you are done you feel great about the time and money well spent.
This is how Top Realtors are made. They pride themselves on bringing a quality product for the appropriate costs. You can meet with them face to face, call them anytime, they are available to you. They sell a good amount of homes, about 40 to 50 a year. This is compared to selling 400 homes or the other extreme of 5 homes a year.
The Bistro Realtors have a team of resources. They have a great Stager, Photographer and full time Assistant. These Realtors bring many skills to the table, lay them out, and say, “this is how we sell your home.” The ability to deliver, using quality ingredients, is the mark of a Top Realtor.
