It is rare that one gets to rave about a large company, never mind an airline. John had such a great experience with Air Canada recently that he wanted to share.
In October he went down to Florida with some friends and while in the airport he decided to purchase a bottle of Bombay Gin from the Duty Free shop.
The makings of a great Real Estate Agent is always their ability to talk and John is no exception. He got so into his conversation while leaving the airplane that he forgot his gin in the overhead bin.
Four days later, John receives a call from the Air Canada in Calgary telling him they located his gin and would like to ship it to Pearson for him to pick up.
“How incredibly considerate of Air Canada,” John says, “anyone could have just taken it home and I wouldn’t have known, but they didn’t.”
John never did make it to Pearson. He asked Michelle, with no luck and (we believe) a couple of eye rolls about going to Pearson to pick up a bottle of gin.
Well lo and behold, a box from Fed Ex arrives and within it contains John’s gin with a little Thank You card saying that they wanted to get this to him.
“Everyone wants to slam big companies saying they don’t care, Air Canada cares. If I ever have a choice I always fly Air Canada. I’m a tall guy and there is always extra leg room and I am truly more comfortable. Thank You to Air Canada, they did a great job!”
