Well…are you READY TO VOTE?

Election time is upon us and the big day is fast approaching.  We are enduring TV ads, radio ads, newspaper ads, and endless updates on Twitter and Facebook.  Regardless of whether or not you are in favour of this election on June 12th, it’s happening, and we owe each other a duty to voice our opinion.

I’m not always happy with the choices at election time, and I don’t always fully understand the scope of everyone’s ‘politics’, but I ALWAYS exercise my right to vote.  I firmly believe that if you don’t make the effort to educate yourself on the issues and who would be a good leader, and then take a few minutes out of your day to pick a candidate, then you don’t get to complain afterwards!

So, there’s still lots of time.  I’m even going to take advantage of the advance polls to make things easier.  I think it would be great to see record turn outs at our local polling stations this year…no matter who is elected!  Grab your card and make your mark!!
