We have officially reached the last week before school, and though numbers are slowing a bit, there is still some interesting activity in the Barrie real estate market.

40 Conditional sales accepted/Listings Withdrawn

and…13 Price Reductions (it’s so much easier to price it right from the start!!)

An interesting number to note is that on Monday, Aug 31st, 60 listings EXPIRED, and on Monday, Sept 1st, 50 listings EXPIRED>  that means that there are 110 listings that were on the market for an average of the last 90 days and never sold!  I’m sure most of those listings will be re-listed, added back onto the market.  But it will be interesting to see how many of those Sellers switch to a different REALTOR, how many reduce their listing price, and how many simply stay off the market.
