While I was trying to think of a blog today it struck me how many different news stories there are right
now that interest me.
A couple of young girls in Ottawa had their lemonade stand shut down over the weekend. Our Syrian refugees are finding that they aren’t being educated fast enough to get jobs to start paying back loans given them to come to Canada, and to start supporting their families. They want to be self sufficient and want to get there faster…there’s a lesson in there somewhere for our youth.
Canada Post might go on strike in 72 hours. Milos Roanic is kicking butt at Wimbledon. A spacecraft, that has been moving for 5 years, finally reached Jupiter. That’s rather cool! Our ozone layer is slowly replenishing, which is good. Two tires flew off a transport on the 400 yesterday. One of those tires hit a car, that is now unrecognizable, but the driver is amazingly barely scratched! People continue to drink and drive.
Leaf fans everywhere are now pinning Stanley Cup hopes on young Auston Matthews. And straight from the Globe and Mail: ‘Rio to get millions of forest-friendly condoms’ in time for the Olympics. Brazil’s government is actually prepared to hand out 9 million condoms during the Olympics this August!
Anyway, now you have a little peak into what I’ll be thinking about when I take a little break from real estate today!
