Here we are, back at work!  Rain one day, snow squalls the next.  Does this affect our Barrie ON Real Estate Market?  Of course it does!  You’ll find that a lot of people are still away on holidays this week, and those who are here may not be 100% motivated to get their home listed or to put on all that winter outerwear in order to look at what IS for sale.  And, as you can see below, there isn’t much to see right now!

I have started checking to see how many Residential properties are listed for sale on any given day over the past month.  This number was getting smaller and smaller as December went on.  I was shocked when I had a look this morning.  As of 10:20 am on January 4th, when I do a general search for all the residential properties for sale in the City of Barrie, I find there are 68.  Sixty Eight homes for sale in all of Barrie ON, right now!  Wow.

Check out our numbers for the past seven (7) days, as noted by the Barrie & District Association of REALTORS posted as of end of business Tuesday, January 3rd.
