Are you enjoying the weather today? A day like today is not only good for people who love to be outdoors, it is also great for Barrie’s real estate market. Warmer temperatures and a sneak peak of the grass under the snow remind people that Spring is just around the corner. It also makes it easier to go out and look at properties that are for sale. No need for winter boots and mitts today! Watch our latest video where John Weber talks about what has happened in our Barrie real estate market in the past week.
Check out our numbers for the past seven (7) days, as noted by the Barrie & District Association of REALTORS posted as of 9:30 am on February 22nd.

We’d like to take a moment to encourage you to go for a wall on Feb 25th. Yes, it’s still winter and yes, it’ll likely be cold that day. So why the heck am I asking you to go for a walk? It’s a great opportunity to get a taste for what our homeless youth have to put up with when they don’t have a place to live. Barrie’s Youth Haven is the only shelter for homeless youth in all of Simcoe County. They do a number of fundraising events throughout the year, and on Feb 25th they are the recipients of the fundraising efforts of the Canada-wide event called Coldest Night of The Year.
The Weber Team will be there sporting our cozy CNOY17 hats and we’d love for you to join us. Check out the CNOY17 website, make a donation, join our team, or start a team of your own. Youth Haven provides an essential service to our youth and we owe it to them to participate! I checked earlier today and Youth Haven is only at 26% of their fundraising goal for this year. Let’s help them out!!
