It’s hard to keep up with the changing Real Estate Market in Barrie and the surrounding areas. We are seeing more and more cancelled listings, price reductions, and failed attempts at bidding wars. There are more homes listed for sale right now, and that’s great news for Buyers. It also helps Sellers function in a more realistic environment. Instead of aiming low and hoping for a bidding war, we are now able to collect our stats, talk about the true market value, and price the home accordingly. If we are able to bring our Sellers a sale price that is above their expectations then that ends up being a bonus, instead of the expected outcome.
